Dr. Natalie Vona is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Colorado and member of PSYPACT (https://psypact.org/page/psypactmap). Dr. Vona evaluates, diagnoses and treats children, adolescents, adults and families. She serves a wide range of clients, and help children, teens, adults and families manage and cope with psychological, behavioral, medical, and developmental disorders. Dr. Vona has a specialty working with children, adolescents and families, and sub-specialties in pediatric sleep disorders and pediatric health-related issues.
Dr. Vona also specializes in sports psychology. She offers consultation to youth athletes, parents and coaches. Dr. Vona can help athletes improve focus, motivation, communication skills, and confidence. Goals can include: decreasing performance anxiety, returning to play after injury, and parent education.
She obtained her Bachelor's in Psychology at the State University of New York at Oswego, and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Northeastern University in Boston. She worked for 2 years as an Early Intervention clinician (home-based services for children 0-3 who were at risk developmentally, social, and/or emotionally), and then went back to graduate school for her Doctorate at Northeastern University. Dr. Vona completed her internship and post-doctoral training at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins Hospital working with children, adolescents and families in inpatient and outpatient settings. Some of her other training includes: providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) at MacLean Hospital Inpatient Adolescent Unit, completing neuropsychological evaluations at a state hospital in Boston, providing psychological services to children and families at Dana Farber Cancer Institute/ Boston Children's Hospital, and working as a school psychologist in the Baltimore City schools.
She has been in private practice in the Denver area since 2008. She has been integrated into Pediatrics 5280 for 4 years, and will continue collaborating with them to best serve the mental and behavioral health needs of their patients.

Cindy Hall, MS, LCSW attended Colorado State University and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and a Minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She attended graduate school at the University of Denver where she earned an M.S.W and later completed the requirements for her L.C.S.W.
Her clinical experience has primarily been at The Cleo Wallace Center (now Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health) and Tennyson Center for Children where she worked as a children and family therapist in day treatment, residential, sub-acute, and inpatient settings. In addition, she oversaw an Assessment/Diagnostic Unit and worked with an in-home therapy team.
She contracted with the state of Hawaii for a period of time to as they were experiencing a shortage of mental health professionals and would fly there to work with children and families in crisis. She also was a teacher at a local charter school the last 10 years. While teaching, she stepped into a different capacity of social work and currently still serves as a Camp Coordinator for a small oncology camp in Colorado.

Laura Anderson, MSW, LCSW

Laura graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BAS in psychology in 2001 from the University of Colorado at Boulder. For the next year, her training continued as a Youth Treatment Counselor at the Denver Children’s Home, counseling under supervision, at risk, abused and neglected children and adolescents residing there. In 2005, she received an MSW degree from Colorado State University. As part of her program there, she interned at Adams County Mental Health Center providing support and counseling to school age children in the Day Treatment Program. Laura completed an internship and two additional years of training at Denver Family Institute where she received intensive training from licensed clinicians and provided individual, couples, and family therapy to clients under their supervision.
Laura began her career with the Psychiatry Department at Children’s Hospital Colorado in 2002 as a Mental Health Counselor and then a Programming Coordinator for the Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Units. In 2005, after receiving a Master of Social Work degree, she became a family therapist, conducting individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents on the Inpatient Psychiatric Units and in the Partial Hospitalization Program. In 2006, Children’s Hospital Colorado sent Laura to Phoenix, Arizona to attend a training on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to then implement DBT skills training into the Inpatient programming at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Laura was sent to two more DBT conferences in Colorado, one of those given by the founder of DBT, Marsha Linehan. Laura implemented DBT skills training into the programming on the Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, leading and coordinating twice weekly DBT Skills Groups on the unit. In 2010, after her son was born, Laura left her full time position on the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit to work part time on the Psychiatric Emergency Services team at Children’s Hospital Colorado. There, she conducted Psychiatric Crisis Assessments in the Emergency Department at Children's, working with the Psychiatric Crisis Team and across systems to place Patients in the appropriate level of care.
In 2016, Laura changed positions within the Psychiatry Department (now called the Pediatric Mental
Health Institute) at Children’s Hospital to work in the Outpatient Clinic as a therapist. During her time in the Outpatient Clinic, Laura provided evidence-based treatment to children, adolescents and their families. From 2017 to 2019, she co-facilitated a multifamily group for children ages 5-7 with emotional and behavioral dysregulation and disruptive behaviors. She also co-facilitated a DBT skills multifamily group for teens and their families from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, she established the telehealth multifamily DBT skills group for teens out of the Highlands Ranch Therapy Care location of Children's Hospital. She ran that telehealth group until June of 2022. In June 2022, Laura started her private practice, Laura Anderson Family Therapy, LLC.

Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator at 5280 BMHC
Shannon Abler is excited to be part of such an amazing team of women. She has spent the last 18 years as the front desk supervisor and member of the leadership team at Pediatrics 5280. She has also been a volunteer at Brent's Place, as safe, clean place for children and their families to live while going through bone marrow transplants for the past 15 years. She has a passion for helping people and hopes to use her experience to help families find the right behavioral health specialist to fit their individual needs.

Emmy Mumford, BA

Emmy Mumford, BA, grew up in Vermont and received her BA from the University of Vermont
in 2020. She began the Clinical Psychological Doctoral Program at the Graduate School of
Professional Psychology at the University of Denver in 2022 and anticipates graduating in 2027.
As part of her predoctoral training, she worked at a dialectical behavioral clinic and provided
both individual and group therapy to adolescents, adults, and families.
In her free time, Emmy enjoys skiing, hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends. Emmy is excited to provide mental health care and create strong and meaningful relationships with her patients and families.

Molly Zall, MS
Predoctoral Extern/Clinician at 5280 BMHC
Molly Zall, MS, was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor’s
degree in Psychology from the University of Denver in 2018. She returned to the Midwest,
where she balanced teaching elementary school special education and pursing her Master’s
degree at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Following this, she continued her teaching
career in Evanston, Illinois. She moved back to Denver to pursue her Doctorate degree in
Clinical Psychology at the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of
Denver. As part of her predoctoral training, she provides individual therapy at the Professional
Psychology Clinic. Additionally, she is involved in an assessment clinic, where she conducts
diagnostic assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and
other comorbid mood disorders.
During her free time, Molly enjoys any activity she can do outdoors with her dog, DJ. She is excited to provide mental health care and foster strong relationships with her patients and families.

Rafe Karen, BA
Predoctoral Extern/Clinician at 5280 BMHC
Rafe Karen, BA, hails from New York City and received his BA from Skidmore College in 2014. Rafe was a filmmaker for 10 years and traveled the world telling the stories of people he met. In 2021 he began the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver and anticipates graduating in 2025. Over the past two years, Rafe has worked with a wide variety of populations using on CBT and ACT-based modalities but finds it more important to get to know the person rather than focusing on a specific type of treatment.
In his free time, Rafe is an avid snowboarder, cook, hiker, and still breaks out his camera every now and then. He is excited to get to provide mental health support and care, as well as create meaningful relationships with clients and families.
